This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, and delivered when you purchase from Alex’s Artisanal Workshop (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed and dispatched within 2–5 business days, unless otherwise stated.

  • Custom or made-to-order products may require additional production time. Estimated timeframes will be provided at purchase.

  • Orders are not dispatched on weekends or public holidays.

If any delay occurs, we will notify you via email.

2. Shipping Rates

We offer simple flat-rate postage Australia-wide based on item size:

(Excludes bulky items and local bulky delivery)

3. Bulky Item Delivery (Local Only)

We offer a local delivery service for bulky items within the Central Coast region for a flat fee:

  • Local Bulky Delivery: $40.00

This service is for oversized or heavy items not suitable for standard postage.

Eligible suburbs and delivery availability will be confirmed after checkout or by enquiry prior to purchase.

4. Shipping Carriers

We ship using trusted carriers to ensure safe and reliable delivery:

  • Australia Post (Standard & Express Post)

  • Sendle (carbon-neutral courier delivery)

Carrier selection will depend on parcel size, weight, and your location to provide the most efficient delivery option.

Tracking will be provided for most parcels. Some small items may be sent via untracked Australia Post letter service if selected at checkout.

5. Click & Collect (Pickup Option)

Click & Collect is available from our workshop on the Central Coast, NSW.

  • Pickup is by appointment only

  • The pickup address will be provided after checkout for privacy and safety

  • You will receive a notification when your order is ready for collection

Please bring your order confirmation when collecting.

6. Local Hand Delivery (Non-Bulky Items)

For non-bulky items, we may offer a local hand-delivery option at our discretion.
If available for your location, this will appear at checkout or can be arranged on request.

7. Delivery Address & Information

Please provide accurate delivery details at checkout. We are not responsible for:

  • Delays due to incorrect or incomplete address details

  • Parcels returned for incorrect addressing

If a parcel is returned to us, re-delivery charges may apply.

8. Authority to Leave (ATL)

If you provide Authority to Leave, the courier may leave the parcel unattended.

If ATL is selected, we are not responsible for parcels that are lost, stolen, weather-damaged, or tampered with after delivery is confirmed by the carrier.

9. Damaged or Missing Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label

  • Keep all packaging until the issue is resolved

For missing parcels, we will lodge an investigation with Australia Post or Sendle and assist in reaching a resolution.

10. International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping.
If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated.
